I don't think I ever gave you an update on the story of "the one that got away". Well, in case you forgot, here she is...
Isn't she darling? Good news...she didn't get away! I happened to stroll back through the same Goodwill the next day and there she was. I snagged her immediately. She's been collecting dust for the last month or so, but I finally decided to tackle her last night.
I gave this piece the Paris Grey Chalk Paint treatment and loaded her up in the truck to take down to my space at Shamelessly Simple.
Here she is now...
I can't get enough of the shape of this piece and I love the turned legs and wheels. I have a thing for furniture on wheels. I'm picturing how beautiful she would be in a small dining room as a sideboard or bar or even as storage in a bathroom.
I added a wax coat and did some distressing in all the right places. The original hardware was okay, but these crystal knobs really add a little something extra.
She's looking for a good home and is available for purchase at Shamelessly Simple along with lots of other vintage goodies. I'll share more pics of my restocked space in my next post.
